Scribbbled has a logo that is made up of handwritten lettering of the word “scribbbled”. The lettering is written on a calligraphy grid, giving an impression of being systematic, ordered, and precise.

The Scribbbled logo is a handwritten lettering of the word “Scribbbled” on a calligraphy grid guideline. The sketchy outline makes it look like it was drawn carelessly or hurriedly, but the grid itself shows that the lettering is actually quite methodical and precise. The scribbled feel gives way to the idea that what you express on this platform is the absolute very best of your creative ideas.

Scribbbled is a tool for NFT communities to share and develop cartoons together. With this tool, users can pitch their ideas and get feedback from other members. What better way to introduce this concept than with a logo that combines handwritten lettering with abstracted guidelines?

It’s a nod towards creativity, while also introducing an element of the structure that would otherwise be missing.

The lettering is supposed to represent the carefree expression by providing a platform for clear expression of creative ideas on a platform that abstracts away all the hard parts.

Sometimes you get lucky and the perfect idea springs right into your head, but more often than not, you have to work and rework different ideas until you settle on something that captures the spirit of your project.

Our approach with Scribbbled has been to create an online space where people and communities who love storytelling can come together to pitch new ideas and work together on developing them into something they can share with the world. There’s no reason why creating great stories should be limited to professionals.

Scribbbled challenges the idea of scribbling as written or drawn carelessly or hurriedly and instead introduces another layer—the methodical layer with the gridlines. Each lettering is built off a single grid-line—thereby, it suggests that all aspects of cartoons can be boiled down to ideas that can be represented by simple shapes and colours without losing any meaning in the process. It also abstracts away all the hard parts of creating something that looks hand-drawn while still maintaining its core values: to provide a platform for the clear expression of creative ideas.
